June 19, 2009-- The first
review is in for Sins of the Father. Read what Blood Moon
Rising has to say about the latest chapter in the Black Rose Killer trilogy
that will be coming out on DVD from Brain Damage Films on 12/1/09.
June 14, 2009-- I had a blast at Monster Mania
in Hartford, CT this weekend. It was the most fun I have had at a
convention in years! I went there with the family with the intention
of dropping off some screeners to promote Sins of the Father and
found myself in fanboy heaven like the good old days back when the Chiller
Theatre convention was more about horror than has-been TV show stars.
The highlights for me were meeting Jason Mewes who is hysterical and Robert
Englund who recorded a special message for my daughter.
Check out pics and video from the convention in the
Photo Gallery!
June 11, 2009-- Great news! Sins of the
Father is FINALLY coming out on DVD. It will be released on DVD on
December 1, 2009. Check out the brand
new trailer for it
on YouTube. Keep checking back for exclusive new content as we count
down to the release of the final chapter in the Black Rose Killer trilogy!
The Girlkiller trailer was well received at this past Fangoria Weekend
of Horrors. It was only shown once late Friday night due to the nudity
in the trailer.
Speaking of Fangoria, check out Mike Lane's
interview from the
convention and be sure to pick up Fangoria magazine Issue #284 which is out
now. This 30th anniversary edition lists The Tenement as one of
the movies featuring Fangoria magazine.
Finally, check out some
pictures of buddy Sal Sirchia (Sins of the Father) that surfaced from
this past Chiller Theatre convention.
June 5, 2009-- Last minute update! The
Girlkiller trailer premieres tonight at 8:45 PM during the trailer show
at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors. See the posting below. The
trailer may run again during the trailer show this weekend.
I haven't been able to talk about it until now. The Girlkiller is
a fictitious grindhouse trailer based on a movie featured in
Stephen Romano's Shock Festival book. It stars
Ian McCulloch (Zombi 2), Mike Lane (The Tenement) and my wife and
daughter have cameos. It was directed by Fangoria Managing Editor
Michael Gingold. I edited the trailer and shot hours of behind the
scenes that hopefully will see the light of day someday.
The trailer will be part of a 3 disc set that will be coming out this Fall.
June 4, 2009-- Join us June 5th - 7th at the
Fangoria Weekend of Horrors at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City!
Friends of the Light & Dark family will be on-hand to celebrate
Fangoria's 30th anniversary!
