What happened in the Light & Dark universe
August 29, 2003 -- Check out the latest
clip from The Tenement! It is from the mute girl
story, "The Sound of Silence" and features CJ DiMarsico and John Sudol.
August 28, 2003 -- I posted ten new pictures between
The Tenement and Sins of the
Father's Photo Galleries. There will be more exclusives in the
forthcoming Fangoria November issue which will be available on October 15th.
Also be sure to check out the all new Fourth Photo
Session with The Tenement star Danielle Russo.
August 20, 2003 -- I have fantastic news (that I have
kept under my hat for a while and have been dying to tell)! It has just been
confirmed that on October 15th we will be in the November issue of Fangoria
magazine.
Fangoria is the biggest and
most prestigious horror magazine out there. All of the Light & Dark movies
(with an emphasis on the Black Rose Killer storyline) will be featured in
a "Notes from the Underground" article that will be roughly four pages. The
great thing about the "Notes" articles is that they are written from the
director's viewpoint of making movies so needless to say it has allowed me to
get more information out there than would be normally possible.
The article will be accompanied by
several pictures some of which have not been released by me before. Now you
can also understand why the delay in my updating the site with new pictures.
I wanted to give Fangoria the exclusive since they are giving me this
opportunity.
October is shaping up to be a
great month. October 4th will be the double
premiere of The Tenement in Putnam Valley, New York at the Taconic
Outdoor Education Center and the Darress Theater in Boonton, New Jersey. The
Fangoria article hits the newsstand on October 15th. There is a possible
gallery showing with props from the movies still in the works. And, we should
have the movie available for the Chiller Theatre convention just in time for
Halloween. We will also begin casting for Fairview Falls in October.
Look for more clips from each of
the stories from The Tenement as we get closer to the debut! Until then,
don't turn off the lights. Never sleep again. Fear the dark. The Black Rose
Killer is coming for you!!!
August 19, 2003 -- Check out the exciting
new movie clip featuring the origin of the Black Rose
Killer from The Tenement! The clip is from the first story of four
that spin new tales and set up the story arc for the forthcoming Sins of the
Father and Fairview Falls. Also check out the
Anatomy of Horror 3 featuring the death of
Isabelle Stephen from Sins of the Father. August 13, 2003
-- Here we are with less than 2 months until the premiere of The Tenement. It's an exciting time
for me but a really crazy time as well. I am not far enough along in post
production as I had planned which makes me nervous. A lot of things are in
the works with Light & Dark some of which I can't announce yet. I am happy
to say though that we are getting an incredible response to our new casting
notices that Mike Valenzano sent out for me. "Fairview Falls" (the next
one to go into production) will be a lot of fun to do. I just have
to get "The Tenement" and "Sins of the Father" out first. We are currently
accepting headshots and resumes for the next one so if you haven't checked out
the auditions page already, please do so. Finally, I am happy to
announce that my hard work has paid off. I was just appointed as an
executive member to the Putnam Valley Arts committee which resides in my
hometown.
