April 28, 2004 -- There is lots of new stuff on the site.
Brittney Evans and Kerri Taylor, the future stars of Fairview Falls make
their Light & Dark debut in the Anatomy of Horror 4: The Making of a
Horror Photo Shoot. Singer/songwriter
David Aaron joins us with two songs
that will be used in Fairview Falls and
Sins of the Father. Finally, check out out
latest reviews of The Tenement DVD from DVDTalk.com and
Fangoria Magazine. DVDTalk.com says that "The Tenement is the kind of
DVD that makes most other special editions curl up in the fetal position and
weep." And Fangoria says, "Baisley definitely has a love for the genre
and an ambition for filmmaking.”
April 27, 2004 -- This past weekend we enjoyed one of the most
successful convention appearances that we have done to date. We broke
our record for the number of movie copies sold compared to past events!
It was great seeing a lot of new and old faces. Check out the pictures
in the Hall of Fame. It was a fun
weekend of business and pleasure. Saturday night Mike Lane reprised his
Fear of the Dark Michael Jacobs role for a haunting
pick up shot that will appear in the forthcoming Sins of the Father.
I'm happy to announce that actor Brett Fallon has joined the cast of
Fairview Falls. He will be playing Derek.
The script is getting closer to completion. Casting should hopefully be
completed soon as well. The major problem right now is conflict
schedules with the cast. I'm working on that as well. With
The Tenement's continuing promotion it makes it all
pretty tough. There's a lot on my plate but as usual, I'll find a way to
work it out. Thanks to everyone who came down and supported us at
Chiller. We really appreciate it.
April 23, 2004 -- Check out the interviews
& review by Film Threat and the DVD review by Fangoria Magazine! Good
stuff! See for yourself why people are loving The Tenement this
weekend at the Chiller Theatre
convention where you can pick up a copy of the movie on DVD or VHS.
April 18, 2004 -- Yesterday's cast signing for The Tenement
was a blast. A number of us got together to sign some autographs and
promote the movie's release. Most of the
pictures are up online now. It was nice to see that the movie is
renting well. Copies were flying off the shelf as soon as they came back
in from the night before. Our next big promotional event, and last one
for a while, is on April 23 - 25 at the Chiller Theatre convention in East
Rutherford, NJ. Click here for more
info. Cast and crew will be present. There will be prizes and
giveaways. The coolest prize will be a replica of "The Gentleman" mask
from The Tenement! So come and join us and pick up a copy of the
movie while you're at it!
April 14, 2004 -- The Tenement now has a new low price of $20.00
which includes shipping. Order your copy today!
By the way, look for Kirk Larsen (Fear of the Dark's "Church Man") on
history channel promos for Investigating History as the pirate Captain
Kidd!
April 12, 2004 -- Tomorrow is the big release day! And I'm
not talking about Kill Bill Vol.1 :) It's the street debut for
The Tenement! It's shipping now so
order your copy right away.
See for yourself what the critics are raving about and calling a "horror movie
made by a fan for fans."
"Boobs and a kill in the first five minutes—wonderful.”
"There is enough nudity and good looking girls to keep any fourteen year old
boy busy for two hours.”
“Glen Baisley just kicks major ass and I am looking forward to seeing lots
more flicks from this awesome director.”
With reviews like these, how can you go wrong? So if there's one movie to
blow your wad on (no pun intended) this week, buy The Tenement!
In other news, we made the papers again. Check out the
Journal News article.

April 9, 2004 -- Today was a very cool day. I received my
first shipment of DVD/VHS of The Tenement. It seemed like a dream
to finally be holding the finished product in my hand. This past Tuesday
(April 6) marked the 2 year anniversary from when we first started shooting
the movie. Wow! It's amazing how fast time goes by. I'm
pretty pleased with the final product. The menus are nicely done.
I want to point out that there was a minor oversight on the disc. The
Movie Trailer and Gag Ending are uncredited in the menus. They
immediately follow the Light & Dark Publicity Tour. That was made up for
though by an extra Photo Gallery that Brain Damage Films put on the disc.
They made some interesting selections, some of which are not what I might have
chosen but you know what they say - "don't look a gift horse in the mouth."
The extra photo gallery puts the total number of photos to over 100 and the
running time for bonus materials now clocks in at an hour. In the future
we will post online for free a couple of last minute goodies that didn't make
the DVD. I want to give the audience the best experience possible.
Finally, for those of you who have preordered, we have already begun shipping.
April 8, 2004 -- Great news! I was just recently informed
that the first pressing of 1,000 DVDs for The Tenement have sold out. No
word yet on how many VHS have sold. Also, read the
North
County News article that just came out promoting our upcoming cast/crew
signing for The Tenement that will be held on April 17th.

Baisley!
