September 21, 2004 -- Having trouble finding The Tenement in
your local video store? No need to smack them any longer. Now you can rent
it on NetFlix. Here's the link:
Also check out Parts 1 and 2 of
Tears of the Rose,
a short story leading up to the forthcoming Fairview Falls.
September 9, 2004 -- Things might be looking up despite all the
productions problems we have run into of late with Fairview Falls.
We have had a few distribution companies make inquiries about our latest
movies. Hopefully that's a good sign of things to come.
Things are looking up for Rosemary
Gore. The screening of her thriller horror short Baby Doll will
show at 10:10pm on Sat. Oct. 2nd, 2004 at the Laemmle Fairfax Theatre (Screen
3) 7907 Beverly Blvd. (corner of Fairfax) in Los Angeles. It is an official
entry in the NY Intl. Independent Film & Video Festival in Los Angeles and in
consideration for Santa Barbara, ION Intl., San Francisco World, CA
Independent, and Hollywood Film Festivals. “Baby Doll” can best be described
as Whatever Happened to Baby Jane meets Monster meets Misery
and has received fantastic reviews in Blood Moon Rising (NY) magazine.
This short is being developed as a feature length film, which she is the Lead
Actor and Executive Producer.
Mike Lane just landed the lead role
in the horror short The Good Nature Club. For more information, go to
www.dimensiaminds.com.
Jude Pucillo will drive his famous
Light & Dark hearse in a horror movie party scene being shot in Amityville,
NY.
Brian Spears and Pete Gerner are
mass producing zombies as we speak for Media Blasters zombie prison movie
Shadow starring Tony Todd. Gene Mazza is assisting them. The
movie rolls on September 18th. Mike Gingold rewrote the script from the
ground up. I have been snapping pictures and taking video of some makeup
tests. I also edited together an animatic (a preliminary version of
scene) that they will show Media
Blasters for an effect that involves a gelatin tongue.
Suzi Leigh aka Suzi Leigh will
be in the November issue of FHM on sale in October.
Finally, we have a very nice
review for The Tenement in the September/October
issue of Rue Morgue magazine and a month's worth of Fairview Falls
journal entries have finally been posted! I'll
get to the accompanying pictures soon.
