What happened in the Light & Dark universe

November 7, 2002 --  Thanks to all of you who showed your support at Chiller.  It was a rough weekend.  Despite the favorable responses there is always that one idiot that has to spoil the fun.  In this case, it was three or four.  The weekend started with the good old New Jersey Board of Taxation hassling me about a permit followed by security and a few patrons who found some of the clips to be a little too shocking.  Well, I guess we know the new ones will be a hit if they evoked such reactions.  All in all, it was not too bad.  Interest for the new movies was definitely at it's peak on day two of the three day convention.
     Pictures from Chiller and the Inner Sanctum III: The House in the Woods haunted house attraction will be coming in December.  A special thanks goes out to Jude Pucillo and all the good people who put on the haunted house.  This year's theme included the Black Rose Killer who was played by volunteer Matt McEwan.
      I am pretty much taking a hiatus from working on the movie until January.  I do have two small planned shoots that have to be done between now and Christmas to finish everything but that's it.  I'm in the process of moving and will be out of touch for most of November.  Today I lose my phone and Internet connection for a few weeks during the transition so don't fret if you can't reach me.  Just be patient.
     I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!  Light and Dark will be back in action with the Black Rose Killer carving up the New Year with (cross your fingers for April) The Tenement.
