What happened in the Light & Dark universe

January 21, 2002 -- Check out the latest review of Fear of the Dark put out by B-Independent.com in the Publicity/Reviews section for the movie!

January 12, 2002 -- Check out the latest addition, "Remembrance", in the Light & Dark Gallery under Glen Baisley.  some of these locations may appear in Sins of the Father.  Also, take a look at the NY Film Groups section.  We are tossing around a few ideas for the Mid-Hudson Film and Artists Group and we need your input.  Finally, there is a great new addition added to the Fangoria 2002 pictures in the Hall of Fame.  It features Scott Klein, director of The Risen, and myself with the notorious Black Rose Killer and one of Scott's zombie creations.

January 12, 2002 -- The Fear of the Dark picture in this issue of Fangoria kicks ass!  Special thanks to Mike Gingold and Fangoria Magazine.  It's a real honor to be featured in the pages of the number one horror magazine on the market.  Check out the Publicity section of Fear of the Dark on the site to see pictures from the issue.  Better yet, hit the newsstand and pick it up for yourself.  This issue is packed with lots of great stuff.  The message board is back up and working.  A link to it is under the NY Film Groups section of the web site.  Finally, congratulations to Maryann Arrien.  She has been made a member of the Putnam Valley Arts Council.  Her efforts for this past year at the Putnam County Film and Video Festival have not gone unnoticed.  Speaking of which the next festival will be October 5th and 6th.

January 7, 2002 -- Happy New Year everyone!!  And what a great new year it has been so far.  This past weekend was a blast at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors.  We  got to meet Robert Englund.  That's enough for me right there.  Check out the Hall of Fame for the latest picture from the convention.  A reporter for Cinescape magazine interviewed us and snapped some pictures for an online article that should hopefully feature us in 3 or 4 weeks.  Speaking of online, a review for Fear of the Dark  should be posted on B-Independent.com hopefully by this coming weekend.  Another great highlight from the convention, at least for me, was when a fan came up to me and told me how he had moved to Westchester, New York about a year and a half ago and saw the New York Times article.  He had hung it on his refrigerator hoping that he might get a chance one day to meet me.  He was as happy as can be to find out that the movie was finished and he quickly purchased a copy.  All of the people who stopped by the table were really great.  On a different note, Some of you have had trouble getting on the America Online message board.  Please accept my apologies.  I am working on a solution.  In the meantime, feel free to use the Guest Book.  Finally, be sure to catch HBO's OZ Sunday nights at 10 PM.  Last night was the new season premiere.  It's a great show and Sal Sirchia has a featured extra role all this season.  I saw him at least twice last night.  Be sure to look for him in upcoming episodes, especially the one with him wearing a towel.  They tried to get him to go completely buff but Sal wouldn't have it.
