What happened in the Light & Dark universe

August 10, 2004 -- As shooting for Fairview Falls starts to wind down all of our schedules seem to be getting busier.  Pete Gerner and Brian Spears (G & S Effects Co.) are gearing up to work on a big budget Media Blasters zombie movie.  They also got called away this weekend to work on a tooth cast for Jerky Boys,  Kamal Ahmed.  It's a horror movie where they may end up working along side the great Vincent Guastini (Dogma and Requiem for a Dream).   LA based Guastini remembered Brian from a past chiller convention when Brian had bought him a beer.  Brian mentioned this in a recent Unspeakable Mag interview which Guastini happened to read.  PS - Guastini had Brian listed in his rolodex as the guy who bought him a beer and gave him a call.  It just goes to show how important networking is in this business.   I also hear that Debbie Rochon will appear in the movie.  It's such a small world.

Speaking of small world's, Michael Gingold is working on the Media Blasters movie as well.  He is currently working on script revisions.  When he's not busy doing that he has been gearing up to work on his latest horror movie which he will shoot a scene or two for later this month.  Gene Mazza (Decay NY FX) will be pitching in some of the makeup effects.

Mike Lane, and a number of other cast members will be joining me this weekend to work on bonus material for Fairview Falls, Sins of the Father, and a forthcoming Fear of the Dark Special Edition.

Kerri Taylor will be at this weekend's HorrorFind Convention in Maryland.  She will be promoting at the Horror Biz table.  Check out the web site for convention details.  Debbie Rochon will also be making an appearance.

Sal Sirchia recently recorded a song for the soundtrack of the upcoming motion picture Coalition.

Finally, Fear of the Dark's Rosemary Gore is been appointed producer by Lake Films of the Baby Doll franchise which is currently seeking distribution.  If you thought she was great in Fear of the Dark she is quite disturbing in Baby Doll.

Keep checking back for more Fairview Falls updates.  Meanwhile enjoy the latest journal entries!Back to Top
